Biography
Teisha Iglesias CPHR, SHRM-SCP (she/her/hers)
Early in her career, Teisha recognized her desire to inspire, influence growth and change in her
connections with people, through her genuine ability, to connect, and derive creative solutions
that empowered people to feel their best, do their best work and thrive.
As the Manager, Talent & Inclusion at the Alberta Electric System Operator, Teisha has designed
talent & inclusion strategies, programs, and frameworks to influence transformational change.
She is the Chair of AESO’s Inclusion, Equity & Diversity Council; leading members in the delivery
of strategy and initiatives to build understanding, apply understanding and embrace change, to
advance inclusion and equity.
Teisha graduated from University of Lethbridge in 2006 with a Bachelor of Management,
majoring in Human Resources and Labour Relations. She holds both a Certified Professional
Human Resources (CPHR) designation with CPHR Alberta and a Certified Professional (SHRMCP) designation from the Society of Human Resources Management.
She is married to Orlando; they have an amazing and energetic son Crúz, who they try to keep
up with! In the spirit of reconciliation, Teisha acknowledges the traditional territory of Treaty 7,
which Settlers have renamed to Calgary, Alberta, and the privilege to live, have residence and
work on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the
Tsuut’ina, the Stony Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make
their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
