Steven joined National Bank Financial Markets (NBFM) in 2000 after stints in the capital markets in Toronto and Tokyo. With over 34 years of experience in the fixed income business, Steven is active in both the origination and distribution of Governmental issuers. NBFM is the top-ranked municipal debt origination and trading desk in Canada, with a greater than 35% market share in secondary trade. NBFM has acted as issuer lead for all Alberta and BC based Governmental issuers, including the Province of Alberta, the Province of BC, the Municipal Finance Authority of BC, the City of Vancouver, Translink and First Nations Finance Authority.

Steven has a BSc (Hons) from Queen’s University, an MBA from the University of Western Ontario, the Branch Manager’s designation from the Canadian Securities Institute and the Series 63 designation from FINRA.
