Robert Lavigne is a proud metis member of the Kitchi Sipi Community. As an Advisor for Indigenous Relations, he has at heart the well-being of Indigenous Peoples and has great respect for their mission as Stewards of the Land. He has been an effective Aboriginal Cultural Awareness trainer for the last 10 years with the Canadian Armed Forces. He was also a dedicated Chair of the Indigenous Professional Network for 5 years. He believes in networking with Indigenous Communities to create economic opportunities that will foster meaningful reconciliation and change for future generations…in other words “that the canoe is full of moose meat”.
