Biography
Nicole Callihoo is Cree, Saulteaux, Sioux, Stoney and Mohawk from the Treaty 6 Territory (Paul First Nation) and is an alumnus from the Johnson Shoyoma Graduate School of Public Policy with a Masters in Public Administration. She brings with her a very strong leadership background with 20 years of working with Indigenous communities. Nicole currently is the National Indigenous Program Lead at Deloitte is working in partnership across the firm with various teams to lead the development and execution of the Indigenous Talent Strategy in support of achieving our goal of optimizing the experience of Indigenous employees and potential Indigenous employees.
Her career journey includes Tribal Administrator for Alexander First Nation, Assistant Deputy Minister, First Nations Metis and Inuit Education Directorate at Alberta Education, Executive Director of the National Indian Brotherhood Trust Fund and many other roles since her time with the National Association of Friendship Centres as the Program Manger.
