Biography

With a combination of education, professional experience and cultural understanding, Nadine brings a unique perspective in her work with Indigenous communities, program management and raising cultural awareness in the workplace. Nadine has spent her career facilitating positive and effective relationships between Indigenous communities, government, and industry while advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Currently, Nadine is a Regional Program Specialist- Southeast Region for BC Hydro’s Indigenous Employment & Training team and a Facilitator for BC Hydro’s Indigenous Awareness ‘Applying Our Principles’ program. Prior to this, she worked as a Regional Manager for the Aboriginal Mentoring and Training Association and in the forest industry in B.C. Nadine is an advocate of empowering Indigenous people and their communities through skills training, education, and career opportunities.

Nadine is a member of Skeetchestn of the Secwepemc Nation. She has a Diploma of Natural Resource Technology from Nicola Valley Institute of Technology and is a Registered Forest Technologist.
