The Next Generation of
Indigenous Inclusion
VIRTUAL | June 15, 2022
Part of understanding Indigenous culture means understanding and respecting that everything starts with relationships. Learn how to approach and engage with Indigenous communities. What does ethical employment look like and how can your organization build lasting relationships built on trust. New to this session will be a discussion around the value of deeper awareness and how the next generation can approach collaboration without fearing a loss of identity. As we all engage with the future workforce, we have an opportunity to take bold action, think outside the box, and encourage young people to succeed and achieve their dreams outside of bias and preconceived ideas.

The Province of Alberta is working in partnership with the Government of Canada to provide employment support programs and services.
In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge Moh’kinsstis, and the traditional Treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, as well as the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3 within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. Finally, we acknowledge all Nations – Indigenous and non – who live, work and play on this land, and who honour and celebrate this territory.
