Discover key learnings & themes that emerged from past Workforce Forward & Forward Summit events
Hundreds gathered at the Workforce Forward and Forward Summit events in Calgary which explored Indigenous inclusion training, employment strategies, best hiring practices and economic prosperity between Indigenous and industry thought-leaders. Over 500 Chiefs, HR professionals, business owners, economic development officers and reconciliation champions from major sectors attended panels, roundtables and workshops. Workforce Forward and it’s sister event Forward Summit was truly unique and the discussions taken place and the relationships built will be critical to long-term partnerships and major projects in Canada.
The Workforce Forward and Forward Together Research Report documented key learnings and themes that surfaced throughout the events, based on the topics discussed and the feedback provided by those who attended.
Thank you to the many hands who have helped contribute, review and support the making of this report including the Forward Summit a nd Workforce Forward Co-Chairs and Leadership Council.
Findings for the Research and Summary Reports were collected during the inaugural Forward Summit and Workforce Forward Events. A gathering of Indigenous communities, industry leaders and reconciliation champions were gathered to discuss important issues related to economic prosperity for Indigenous People and advancing Indigenous employment and inclusion.
