Andrea Jenkins

Andrea Jenkins is a seasoned Support Advisor with a proven track record spanning over 15 years in the field of Education and Career planning. Her expertise lies in Non-profit Organizations, Career Assessment and Development, and Program Facilitation, with a special focus on serving Persons with Disabilities. Additionally, she holds certifications as a Life Skills Coach and OEC Counsellor. 

Currently, Andrea holds the position of Leadership Mentor at Les Femme Michif Otipemisiwak/Women of The Metis Nation. In this role, she collaborates with Metis youth, guiding them in acquiring the skills necessary to emerge as leaders within their communities while deepening their cultural awareness. 

Being of Metis heritage, Andrea maintains strong connections to her Dene/Cree culture and practices traditional medicine harvesting. Furthermore, she actively employs her voice to champion justice for the families of MMIWG2S and to raise awareness about Residential Schools.
