Biography

Amanda is a highly experienced organizational development & DEI consultant, facilitator and leadership coach, and is the second person in Canada to achieve the Certified Professional Diversity Coach qualification. She is currently interim President of Creating Hope Society, an Indigenous non-profit with the vision of halting the cycle of Aboriginal children being separated from their families and communities. Amanda is passionate about creating healthy workplace environments to drive employee engagement and performance by advocating for cultures built on equality, dignity and care. As an early pioneer of emotional intelligence in the UK, she developed an approach to leadership development and culture change built on valuing diversity and creating an environment where people felt valued and included. For 6.5 years, Amanda held senior HR roles in Edmonton where she pioneered an approach that put dignity and care at the heart of people strategy by aligning transformational leadership competencies, inclusive practices and people development strategies with non-biased people systems. Amanda is co-founder of Allyze, a DEI technology startup building a platform to provide organizations with a systemized approach to sustainable diversity, equity & inclusion practices built on her proprietary DEI Pyramid and Conscious Allyship maturity model.
